Authors Anthony De Sa (Barnacle Love) www.anthonydesa.com and Gwen Davies invite you to join us for a week of intensive work with your writing, contemplative space, personal conferences, and critique. The conversation is also open to the social context of our worlds, with their issues of class, age, cultural assumptions and whatever else keeps us – and our characters – up at night. Mid-week, join a World Café discussion on exile and writing with Ghazal Mosadeq, Iranian poet and CBC broadcaster, in residence through the week. For writers with some experience, published or unpublished.
Cost: $960 ($575 tuition only; $385 meals and accommodations)
Bursaries of up to 1/3 program cost, young adult scholarships of $500 each and other artist's bursaries available.

This is an invitation to writers who want to work independently on a manuscript in a community designed to support writers. You will set your own schedule and decide the extent to which you want to mentor and critique one another as a small group. As a writer in retreat, you are also invited to give a short reading with writers in the workshop program, and participate in the mid-week World Café.
Cost: $570 (includes private room + all meals and personal feedback)
